主讲人简介:

周久人,西安电子科技大学教授,国家级青年人才、杭州市“西湖明珠工程-海外引才创新人才。2019获得西安电子科技大学工学博士学位,导师郝跃院士。2017~2021先后加入加州大学伯克利分校和新加坡国立大学。

2021年加入西安电子科技大学。在IEEE IEDM、IEEE VLSI、IEEE EDL、IEEE TED等微电子领域会议和期刊上发表学术论文50余篇,授权发明专利11项(中国、新加坡、PCT),撰写学术专著《负电容场效应晶体管》,获国家出版基金资助,主持科技创新2030—“新一代人工智能”重大项目课题和国家自然科学基金“后摩尔时代新器件基础研究”重大研究计划培育项目。

报告摘要:

随着晶体管工艺尺寸的微缩,集成电路的静态功耗不断增加,面对大数据时代的海量信息的存算需求,传统基于冯·诺依曼架构集成电路的能效、算力发展面临巨大挑战。高能效铁电器件利用铁电材料自发极化,可实现非易失性存储、陡峭亚阈值摆幅特性、类脑人工神经突触等多种存储-运算功能,具备突破器件尺寸物理极限、缩减驱动电压、兼容高能效存算架构的能力,可显著改善集成电路功能密度和能效特性,被视为 “后摩尔时代”集成电路产业最具潜力的探索方向。报告人将从高介电铪基铁电材料、低功耗负电容晶体管、光电感知型铁电电容型存算器件以及铁电掺杂可重构存算晶体管等方面汇报开展的相关工作。

题目:Non-rigid Square-twist Origami Metamaterials

马家耀,天津大学机械工程学院教授,博士生导师,英国牛津大学博士,博士后,天津市高层级海外引进青年人才计划入选者。研究方向为可展结构、折纸结构与折纸超材料的设计与分析,主持国家级项目6项,在Advanced Science、Research、Engineering等期刊上发表SCI论文50余篇。

报告摘要:

Metamaterials can achieve exotic and desirable mechanical properties that are inaccessible to conventional materials. Origami, which transforms 2D materials into intricate 3D structures, offers a promising platform for metamaterials. The performances of origami metamaterials are primarily determined by the folding mechanics of the patterns. Existing origami metamaterials are predominantly based on rigid-foldable origami patterns, resulting in restricted property tunability. Meanwhile, non-rigid-foldable patterns can potentially offer more versatile behaviors, but their applications are hindered by the lack of an analytical framework for folding prediction. In this talk, a theoretical framework for novel design and property programming of origami metamaterials will be presented by combining kinematics and mechanics. Taking the historic square-twist patterns as an instance, the effects of crease mountain-valley assignments on the rigid foldability of the patterns are analyzed by a universal kinematic model, from which four units, two rigid-foldable and two non-rigid-foldable ones, are obtained. Furthermore, for the non-rigid-foldable type 2 unit, an analytical model is established by building an equivalent rigid-foldable counterpart. Finally, a tessellation rule to design metamaterials with different types of units is developed, leading to programmable mechanical properties over a broad range.

主讲人简介:

Han-Chieh Chao received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1989 and 1993, respectively. He is currently a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Dong Hwa University, where he also serves as president. His research interests include IPv6, Cross-Layer Design, Cloud Computing, IoT, and 5G Mobile Networks. He has authored or co-authored 4 books and has published about 400 refereed professional research papers. He has completed more than 150 MSEE thesis students and 11 Ph.D. students. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Institution of Engineering and Technology Networks, the Journal of Internet Technology, the International Journal of Internet Protocol Technology, and the International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing. He is a Fellow of IET (IEE) and a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society.
